New Lawns
Seeding is usually the most economical method to establish
a new lawn. New home lawns are a great place for StrawNet
to prove its ability to establish turf. Mulch applied properly
and under the proper conditions will speed germination
and improve stand uniformity. StrawNet helps to increase
seed to soil contact for enhanced germination. The use
of StrawNet will also help conserve moisture, keep the
soil surface cool, control erosion, and reduce surface
crusting until establishment. Germinating seedlings can
die in a few hours if they become dry. Just prepare the
soil for seeding as usual and after the seed has been applied
follow up with StrawNet to enhance germination and overall
uniformity of your future grass stand.
StrawNet can be easily applied using a walk behind mulch
spreader, and if the area is not too large it is still
easily applied by hand or even using a shovel.
